Within the framework of measures against flood, which constitute a part of the Girne-Lefkoşa dual carriage way works, three ministries are working together to disperse the waterway and the road, and prevent the entry of water coming from Ciklos region into Girne.
Değirmen Stream– Boğaz Stream maintenance and the construction works of the reverse and embankment ditches, which is carried out by the Ministry of Public Works and Transportation, Ministry of Interior and Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources, were examined on-site by the Minister of Public Works and Transportation Tolga Atakan, the Minister of Interior Ayşegül Baybars and the Minister of Agriculture and Natural Resources Dursun Oğuz.
