Public Works and Transport Minister Tolga Atakan received the Council for Disabled Services Coordination, headed by Günay Kibrit, in connection with December 3, World International Day of People with Disabilities.
During the visit, Minister Atakan said the Ministry is working on a variety of issues that will be implemented in the future to benefit disabled people, and one of these is issuing tougher penalties on motorists who park on disabled car parks.
Günay Kibrit, who is at the same time the Chairman of the Cyprus Turkish Assertion for the Orthopedically Disabled, thanked the minister for his efforts and work for people with disabilities.
