Public Works and Transport Ministry Traffic Department personnel and Police General Directorate Traffic Department teams carried out inspections on commercial vehicles last week at the border crossings of Derinya, Beyarmudu and Metehan.
Penalties were given to drivers and companies which did not comply with the rules. This was the sixth inspection carried out by the teams at the borders in November.
