The traffic lights on Dr Fazıl Küçük Bulvarı were yesterday re-coordinated on a “green wave” system. Motorists driving towards the west will be able to drive between Hamitköy and the Gönyeli roundabout without stopping at a red light, provided they are driving at 65 km/h.
After passing the traffic lights on Sanayi Caddesi (Atatürk Sports Stadium), those driving towards the east will be able to drive to the Hamitköy traffic lights without being stopped by a red light, provided they are driving at 65 km/h.
Meanwhile, work on a “green wave” system at the Girne bypass traffic lights will soon be completed.
