The new Minister of Public Works and Transportation Dt. Ünal Üstel took over the office from the outgoing minister Tolga Atakan with a ceremony held yesterday at the Ministry of Public Works and Transportation.
During the ceremony, Minister Üstel said while assuming the position, he will work hard and in collaboration with the outgoing minister in order to secure the comfort and happiness of the people, adding that Atakan had carried the flag to a good place despite of many difficulties.
Üstel also said, despite the political differences, they shared the same feelings and excitement for the country adding he will be in close contact with Atakan to serve the people.
Minister Üstel thanked Atakan and his team for their services. On the other hand, outgoing Minister Atakan said Minister Üstel was an experienced politician with outstanding services in minitries and the parliament. Atakan said, “I believe he will provide the best service to the people and we willl provide him with assistance in every suıbject if asked.”
