Vehicle owners will be able to make online road tax payment starting from 12pm today (Monday, 6 January 2020). Vehicle owners will be able to reach the online service by clicking on “ARAÇ KAYIT HARÇ ÖDEMELERİ” below the slide on the main page of Ministry of Public Works and Transportation’s website www.bub.gov.ct.tr.
Once the link on the bottom left of the page titled "Araç İşlemleri (Vehicle Operations) is cliked, users will be directed to the section where they will have to enter licence plate number, ID number, company number or passport number and the date the vehicle registration was issued.
Once the verification code (Doğrulama Kodu) is enetered, vehicle owners will enter the page where they will be able to pay their road tax fees, inspection fees and exit registrartion fees, before taking their vehicle abroad.
After the vehicle owner approves the transaction, payment will be made. In respect of the document showing the payment has been saved to the system, the user will be able to save the document in PDF on their devices or take a printout. It is a legal obligation for owners to keep the record of the documents for which fees are paid in their vehicles
Payments will be accepted between 12 midnight and 10pm seven days a week.
In order to provide an effective service, there will be a transition period for 3 to 4 weeks. Those who face problems while using the system can call “1300” hotline within woprking hours or send an e-mail to info@bub.gov.ct.tr including details of the problem faced.
